SRT Classical Music Series presents: From Juilliard - Noree Chamber Soloists
Cellist Yi Qun Xu, a native of China, has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician across the United States. She has won top prizes in China’s national cello competitions as well as second prize at the Juilliard Concerto Competition, first prizes in the 2017 Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra Instrumental Competition, 2008 Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition in Croatia, and the 2010 ASTA National Solo Competition.
The special prize winner of the Anton G. Rubinstein International Piano Competition, Yoon Lee is a solo pianist, chamber musician, and teacher, active in the New York metropolitan area. Yoon has been on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Château de Fontainebleau in France, and the Schumann-Haus Museum in Leipzig, in addition to many other stages of New York, Europe, and Seoul. Her live performances have been featured on WQXR, the American classical radio station that serves the New York metropolitan area, and KBS, the national television station of South Korea.
A native of North Carolina, violinist Amelia Dietrich thrives to be one of the most versatile and sensitive players of her generation. An avid chamber musician, Amelia has performed in chamber series all over the United States including Alice Tully Hall’s Wednesdays at One, National Sawdust, Colburn Chamber Music Society, and Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival among others alongside her mentors and inspirations Robert McDonald, Alessio Bax, Ida Kavafian, Ani Kavafian, Hye-Jin Kim, Hagai Shaham, David Bowlin, Steve Tenenbom, Nicholas Cords, Roger Tapping, Michael Kanen, Marc Coppey, and Adam Neiman. She has spent summers at the Internationale Sommerakademie in Austria, Yellow Barn Young Artist Program, Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, Manchester Music Festival, The Perlman Chamber Music Workshop, and Yale’s Norfolk Chamber Music Festival.
